The proud offshoot of St. John’s Group of Schools - St. John’s Matriculation Higher Secondary School, 3 & 4 South Canal Bank First Loop Street, Mandaveli, Chennai-600028, was established in 1997. The school is recognized by and affiliated to the State Matriculation Board. The school houses classes from L.K.G to XII. It has a total strength of 1200 students and a faculty of 80 teaching and non–teaching staff. It stands as a testimony to the sheer unquestioning faith in God, hardwork and continuous perseverance to the cause of education. It has grown in all spheres of educational endeavours and it stands as a prominent landmark in the educational map of Tamil Nadu. This school has completed its 29th academic year successfully. The school organises various programmes involving Academic, Cultural, Sports and Community-based activities through the year. We lift our grateful hearts to thank our Lord Almighty for enabling us to achieve our goals and objectives. As we look back at the twenty nine long years of our service in the field of school education, we remember with gratitude and thankfulness the innumerable hearts who stood by us at all times.

St. John’s came into existence in the year 1968. Today St. John’s has become a brand name in Education circle as they specialise exclusively in school education. St. John’s educate more than 12000 children annually through 9 of its institutions in Chennai.

The school is recognised by and affiliated to the Matriculation and State Board for the Higher Secondary level. The school is situated in Mandaveli, nestled in a housing colony with a well enclosed, green, inviting, ‘Walk into my parlour’ environment within.

The administration of this school is vested with an autonomous Board of a Governing Body under the Chairmanship of the Managing Trustee of the Saint John’s Educational Trust. The day to day administration of the school is undertaken by the Correspondent, Director, Senior Principal, Principal & Vice-Principal . The school follows the same pattern of discipline and education followed by the group of schools.
